Which profession suits me? What is important in a contemporary application? How do I make a good first impression? Visitors come to the fair with these and many other questions. Answers are provided in the numerous workshops, specialist lectures and presentations given by various speakers at the job fair. Afterwards, the speakers will of course be available to answer further questions.
Application check
Your application documents are like a business card. They should convince the company of your abilities and ideally result in an invitation to an interview. But what does a good, modern application actually look like? The problem: HR managers usually receive numerous applications every day - so it is important to stand out positively at first glance and not apply with "08/15″ documents. At the job fair, experts will check your application documents free of charge and provide helpful tips and recommendations.
Application photo service
The importance of the photo is underestimated by many applicants. A favorable photo can convey sympathy and competence and thus enormously increase the chances of being shortlisted. At the fair, you will therefore have the opportunity to have your perfect application photo taken by professionals.
Beauty Workshops
What is the best make-up look for a job interview? Which colors suit me and which make-up look defines me best? Dear women, drop your brushes! In the beauty workshops by MARY KAY, you will learn how best to apply make-up, which techniques are suitable for different face shapes and what is important for skin care. At several stations, Josephine Henze and her team test products with the participants and, of course, give them the right make-up. Men can also gain added value from the workshops and find out about skincare routines. After the workshops, you will leave with a great look and can introduce yourself directly to the various companies at the stand - we make you glow.
Childcare
Playing, painting, handicrafts, face painting and much more: there is plenty to discover at our childcare center with the support of Kindergarten Känguru. Even the youngest trade fair guests can try out and experience exciting and interesting things throughout the day, while their parents can gather their career input in peace.
Labor market integration
With the support of Leipzig helps Ukraine e. V and the MIQR, the fair will also offer advice on labor market integration for migrants and refugees to support them in their new or re-entry into working life.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT?
Tram:
You can take tram line 12 in the direction of Gohlis-Nord and get off at the Zoo stop. You can take lines 9, 10, 11 or 16 to the Wilhelm-Liebknecht-Platz stop.
By car?
The address for the navigation system is: Pfaffendorfer Straße 31, D-04105 Leipzig. You can follow the signs for ‘Parkhaus Zoo’ or ‘Parthenstraße zum Zoo’.
Is there a car park on site?
You will find the Zoo car park directly opposite the main entrance to the Congress Hall. Here you can park your car 24 hours a day in one of the 1,375 parking spaces.
