Chef de Partie Pastry

The Chef de Partie Pastry supervises the team, ensuring that every dessert meets the highest culinary standards, with meticulous attention to detail, recipes, and preparation methods, guaranteeing efficient and consistent pastry production.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma and has a good command of the English language (minimum B1 level). A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience is required, gained either onboard cruise ships or in 5-star hotels with multiple dining outlets (2–3 restaurants with 100–150 seats each), high-volume restaurants (500+ seats), or large 4/5-star resorts serving thousands of guests.

Extensive experience in supervising a large pastry team is essential. Strong organizational and time management skills, along with the ability to manage high production volumes, are required. Experience in handling operations serving between 3,500 and 6,500 guests is essential, ensuring full oversight of all pastry production processes.

Demi Chef Pastry

The Demi Chef de Partie Pastry supervises the daily preparation of desserts in the designated area, creating exquisite cakes and desserts at a high culinary level, delighting both customers and colleagues. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma, know English language at a minimum level of B1 and have approx. 2 years' experience in workshops or high-volume restaurants (+500 covers) or in 4/5-star hotels. It is important to have an excellent knowledge of all public health policies.

Land Experience Seller
The Land Experience Seller is responsible for promoting and selling excursion packages on board, supporting guests in choosing the best land experiences while ensuring safety and service standards. The role requires sales experience, strong communication skills, and fluency in English plus two additional languages, with a customer-focused attitude in a multicultural environment.

Hospitality operator 

The Hospitality operator is the main reference for information and requests of our Guests. They provide accurate and timely information about the cruise services and handle complaints and requests from the Guest, to deliver an effective, courteous, and professional service.

Requirements: secondary school diploma, previous experience of at least 6 months in similar positions in hotels (receptionist, customer service), English language skills (at least B2 level) and 2 other languages (Italian, Spanish, French or German) at B1 level.

Costa Ambassador

Costa Ambassador scouts potential customers by using a push and pull strategy and directly sells products and services or pivots guests towards different business owners to support and increase their performance. They know the guest mix, the complete onboard offer, and use a suitable storytelling to let guests discover the onboard offer generating a desire to experience something new increasing their spending willingness.

Requirements: secondary school diploma, at least 1 year in Retail/Sales with good interpersonal skills, English and Italian language skills (at least C1 level) and 1 other languages (Spanish, French or German) at B2 level.

Asst. Dining room Manager

The Assistant Room Dining Manager supports the Dining Room Manager in ensuring the efficient operation of catering services across assigned outlets, maintaining high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, demonstrates proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level, and has knowledge of a third language, preferably German, at a minimum B1 level.

A minimum of one year of experience is required, either onboard cruise ships in a similar managerial role or in high-volume restaurants (500+ seats) within 4/5-star hotel environments.

Strong guest focus and service orientation are essential, along with excellent knowledge of public health and safety regulations. Proven experience in supervising teams of more than 8–10 people, including delivering training sessions, is also required.

Additionally, the candidate should possess strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to team management and operational efficiency.

Photographer

The Photographer is responsible for catching our Guests most important moments by proposing a high-quality photographic product with spontaneity and kindness. The ideal candidate should have a secondary school diploma, specific experience as a photographer, Language skills in English (minimum B1 level) and should be expert with sales techniques and problem solving oriented.  

Shop Specialist

The shop specialist oversees the department under his/her responsibility (jewelry, watches, apparel or cosmetic) and assists in other areas as needed. The aim of the position is providing excellent customer service, ensure high standards of merchandising and marketing displays. The shop specialist will also monitor stock levels and implement inventory control measures. We seek a retail professional with a high school diploma, B2 English, and at least one year of experience. A hospitality degree, additional languages, and cruise ship experience are preferred.      

German International host/ess 

The German International host/ess is the main referent point for German speaking guests. The aim of the role is to remove language barriers allowing guests to enjoy their cruise. Acting as a dependable influencer, the International Host/hostess dedicates most of the time to socialize with guests fulfilling their requests, providing prompt feedback, and contributing so to the overall guests’ satisfaction to achieving Net Promoter Score and On Board Revenue for that language group.

Requirements: secondary school diploma, previous experience of at least 1 year tourism (i.e. reception, accompanying Guests), German language skills (at least C2/mother tongue level) and English language skills (at least B2 level).
